Kadam Lucy James

Kadam Lucy James is the resident teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Colorado in Denver. She possesses a great wealth of knowledge and experience of Buddhism. She has been studying and practicing meditation and Buddhism for more than 34 years. She has taught extensively in Colorado, Florida, California and the UK. For many years, she has also helped to edit and produce many of the books by the internationally renowned meditation master Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. The works of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso are widely regarded as the most comprehensive presentation of Buddhism available in any Western language.

Trina Gunther has been practicing Kadampa Buddhist meditation since 2004. Trina has spent many years integrating her meditation practice with her busy professional and family life. She enjoys exploring the many benefits of Buddhist meditation with others and looks forward to helping you discover your own inner peace and joy.

Kate Franklin

Kate Franklin

Kate has been studying Kadampa Buddhist meditation since 2004 and was KMC CO’s admin director until last year. Being a school teacher by profession, Kate has a clear and practical way of teaching meditation that is easy to understand and apply to daily life. She teaches the weekly meditation classes in Evergreen.

Jamie Holland

Jamie Holland has been practicing Kadampa Buddhist meditation since 2004 on General, Foundation and Teacher Training Programs at Kadampa Meditation Centers throughout the country and world. Jamie’s teachings are full of humor and practical examples that illuminate the depth of Buddha’s profound teachings, making them accessible for everyone to apply to their daily lives. Jamie occasionally leads half-day meditation retreats in Evergreen.

Rainey Oliver

Rainey is currently a student in the Foundation Program and is an assistant teacher on Wednesday nights in Evergreen. She brings a sincere warmth and bubbly attitude to sharing Buddha’s teachings and the practice of meditation. She and her husband, Justin, are devoted to sharing their love of dharma and they volunteer with the center to organize meditation talks throughout Colorado.

    Since inner peace is the source of all happiness, we can see how important meditation is.
